Now, we’re looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our Sales team.
What's this position about?
As an Account Manager at Apptension, you will have an opportunity to:
support the existing Sales Team in building client experience via used techniques, tools, and channels
contact and follow up on existing leads; building an upsell pipeline from existing accounts and generating leads from an established client’s portfolio
actively and often independently organize client's meetings before engaging more resources i.e. pre-sales team to provide an early stage qualification of leads
coordinate the Back-office tasks such as contracts and formal documentation (NDAs, Cooperation contracts, SOWs), terms negotiations with new and existing accounts, legal consultation with a lawyer if and when needed
direct collaboration with Apptension project teams and client’s representatives to ensure clients vision and needs are met along the way, mitigate potential conflicts or help solving them
proactively identify and pursue upsell opportunities in order to meet the departmental OKRs
take ownership and responsibility for the accounts portfolio
work on the estimations together with the pre-sales team to meet the company's revenue, profit and margin objectives.
What do you need to have to join us?
Here’s a list of the skills that we would like you to have:
min. 2 years of experience working in sales for an IT company, ideally in a software house environment
min. 1 year of experience in planning and growing business and selling to international clients
excellent command of written and spoken English (C1)
experience in conducting discovery calls and gathering clients requirements
strong understanding of what makes a good offer and how to get the client’s ‘sign off’
working with targets (monthly, quarterly, etc.) a good track record of accomplishing them
experience of collaborating with project and technical teams in responding to clients’ requirements
experience of coordinating and negotiating contracts
theoretical knowledge of different methodologies, practices and standards in software development
impressive written and verbal communication skills ability
