What's this position about?

As a Senior Frontend Developer at Apptension, you will have an opportunity to:

  • work on various types of projects within international teams using agile methodologies
  • cooperate with our clients on a daily basis
  • act as a project’s technical leader
  • design and develop web app logic using React + Redux
  • implement responsive web designs and interactions
  • be a part of our Development Team: we have almost 40 experienced and open-minded developers ready to share their knowledge

What do you need to have to join us?

Here’s a list of the skills that we would like you to have:

  • minimum 3-4 years of commercial experience in using TypeScript, React, Javascript and Next.js
  • proficiency using HTML5, CSS3, Redux, Node.js and webpack
  • some experience in using Gatsby.js and React Native
  • practical knowledge of any or all of these tools: Figma, Zeplin, Adobe XD
  • at least basic knowledge and experience in using React Testing Library and Jest
  • ability to explain the technical aspects of your project to the client
  • ability to provide valuable feedback
  • ability to provide guidance for younger teammates
  • good command of English, both spoken and written (at least B2)

We also value a lot:

Things that will help you stand out from the other candidates:

  • previous experience in using  Vue.js and Vuex
  • some knowledge of AWS and Services
  • good understanding of Server Side Rendering, Docker & containers in general,
  • comfortable working with new tech/libraries
  • great communication skills
  • analytical thinking and problem-solving attitude
