Now, we’re looking for a brilliant Sales Specialist to be a part of Teamdeck Team.

What's this position about?

Teamdeck is our own tool designed to support remote teams in resource scheduling, time tracking and leave management.

  • End-to-end ownership over the process of responding to the leads in sales process
  • Closing deals from the inbound leads 
  • Establishing e-mail and telephone contacts, leading demos with selected leads
  • Using and improving the existing measures to ensure client’s positive experience and happiness at every stage of the project cycle
  • Identifying and pursuing upsell opportunities with your accounts
  • Supporting the Growth Specialist in implementing the sales strategy by executing plans at the team level 
  • building and managing a sales pipeline focused on revenue
  • building and conveying compelling value propositions
  • reporting to the CEO

How will your typical workday look like?

Your days will be filled with communication with leads. You will write personalized emails or have demo calls, both focused on delivering the value that prospects are looking for and building the relationship. You will lead the conversation, decide on the next steps, and move the leads forward, being responsible for the sales process.

Most often you will be working with closing the deals: negotiating terms, preparing offers, and making sure that you are selling the right number of seats. You will actively seek opportunities for upselling.

There will be times when you will be asked to help your leads understand how Teamdeck works. They may need clarification concerning certain features or possible workarounds. You will provide basic technical support that will help you smoothly move leads to the end of your sales pipeline. Sometimes you will be asked to outreach to potential leads.

Part of your responsibility will be to report the progress and outcome on a weekly basis to make sure that the whole team is on the same page. You will contribute to fostering transparency.

You will support the Growth Specialist in executing long term plans, understand the financial forecasting, and help implement actions that are aligned with those.

What do you need to have to join us?

We value proactive approach and strong working ethics. Here’s a list of the skills that we would like you to have:

  • min. 2 years of experience working in sales for a an IT company
  • practical experience of working at different stages of the sales pipeline - lead qualification, negotiations, sales - strong understanding of how to successfully move leads between those stages
  • experience with consultative, value-based selling and a proven track record of exceeding your quota
  • love for chasing opportunities that may not be immediately obvious or clearly structured when first emerge but require initiative and drive to be pursued
  • experience in conducting demo calls and gathering clients requirements
  • proven track record of closing deals - strong understanding of what makes a good offer and how to get client’s ‘sign off’
  • working with targets (monthly, quarterly, etc.) a good track record of accomplishing them and understanding of how those targets must translate into your daily work
  • understanding the need for efficiency within the sales process and what is the good practice to achieve it
  • impressive written and verbal communication skills ability to translate communication into an actionable plans
  • interpersonal skills and versatility of using them - ability to recognise situations where you may need to claim an assertive position, be more persuasive or lenient
  • excellent command of written and spoken English (C1).
